Calculatorul ZX Spectrum +2 a fost lansat in anul 1986, fiind primul calculator din seria Spectrum produs dupa ce compania Amstrad a cumparat brandul Sinclair si linia de produse Spectrum. ZX Spectrum +2 este foarte similar cu modelul Amstrad CPC464.
